  Veey friendly. Good service. Excellent food.good sized meals. Lovely selection of real ales. Nothing negative to report. Went there on 3 occasions and previous visits consistently excellent.

  AVOID!!! Awful place!! Came here many years ago but the standards have slipped since then. My 2 year old daughter choked on the extra long bendy straw she was given and it caused her to projectile vomit all over herself and our table. I informed the man at the bar (the owners brother). He gave me a cloth and my mother mopped up the sick while I took my daughter to the bathroom to get changed. The staff just left us to it. No help at all. Nobody came over to clean the table with disinfectant or some kind of cleaning product. The chair she had got sick on was just left in the pub for someone else to sit on. Then when we got our food, it was awful. Our baguettes had no butter, the chips were barely cooked, the scampi was raw and the vegetables were microwaved. All our glasses were filthy. They clearly have not heard of soap in this pub! Then when my mom complained, the staff rudely said the glasses were not dirty and didn't seem to realise he should have wiped down the table. I really hope nobody sat there after us!

  Annie and Lloyd always give you a Friendly welcome. Good Beer Good Pub Food and waiting Staff are polite and helpful.
